Bank robbery at the Georgia Dome
At a recent Atlanta Falcons game, my brother and I watched the cheerleaders bob and weave to a song with the following lyrics -
"I ain't gonna rob no bank, girl"
Anyone in cyberspace know who wrote and performed this piece of musical history?
That was pretty much the solitary idea of the song, at least what we could decipher. It didn't seem appropriate for the audience and got us wondering who chooses and choreographs the cheerleaders' routine. A look around our section found mothers and daughters swaying mindlessly to this crap, oblivious to the words.
My guess is that Falcons' owner Arthur Blank has no idea what lyrics blare over the PA system. He should.
